Project Description
The Clay County Clothes Closet is a Kansas City non-profit based in Clay County MO that helps provide clothing for individuals and whole families who find themselves suffering impoverishment or catastrophic disaster. Clothing is a basic human need, and the Clay County Clothes Closet has been working diligently to assist in restoring personal dignity to residents of Clay County with an established need since 1959.
SMB Logic was asked by the Clay County Clothes Closet to help redesign their Kansas City non-profit’s website by building a beautiful, functional new website that had the tools they needed to help streamline their operation and ensure they could most effectively use their volunteer resources to best serve the community. We helped the Clay County Closet identify and create content for all the various stakeholders that would be utilizing their website, including content for persons in need, for partner organizations and social workers who identify and refer persons in need to them, for volunteers who serve at the Clay County Clothes Closet, and for donors who help support the noble work they do.
SMB Logic proudly built their new website which includes features like a public facing event calendars to help promote their activities, a complex referral agency form to eliminate a substantial amount of previous manual data entry, and paper handling, an e-commerce system with single donation and subscriptive donation capabilities for raising funds with donors, and intake and signup forms to help streamline volunteer signup.
We are presently handling ongoing website design and maintenance services for their company.
Matt Friedman and his SMB Logic Team bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table when it comes to website design and management! Matt took the time to personally visit our non-profit’s serving facility to get a clear understanding of Clay County Clothes Closet’s mission so he could use the best approach to meet our organization’s needs. Matt’s webpage design has assisted our organizating in reaching and serving additional impoverished individuals in need, made our referral process seamless for our referring agencies through the design of an automated referring form and help us effectively connect our mission to the community to help secure vital funding and clothing donation support for our clothing resource program!
Thank you Matt Friedman & the entire SMB Logic Team for helping us make a difference in the lives of those Clay County Clothes Closet serves! Sincerely, Deborah Butler, Executive Director, Clay County Clothes Closet– Debbie Bigelow, Director, Clay County Clothes Closet
